Over the weekend had supper @Mac with my two buddies.

Somehow the topic went to my exorcism post,
which they said was eerie.

Taking abt fear,
one of my buddy recounted one of his experience.


He was in Thai, alone, looking for a hotel.
Sought the taxi driver for recommendation.

The driver drove him to a hotel.

The place?
To his amusement,
the room was small +rundown,
with shower room divided only by curtain.
Then, above the bed, there was this big mirror,
allowing u to see your reflection while u lie on the bed.
Add in a romantic orange lighting.
Clearly, a couple hotel.

He lamented the hotel.
Unhappy with the recommendation.
Imagine when alone,
look up the mirror, see something else.

Laughing, I told him u'r angry not because of the room or mirror.
It's because u're alone.
If u're with your GF, it would be different.
He rebutted that even with a partner,
the fear of seeing extra things in the mirror
would be spooky enough.


"That's not spooky.
The shock would be when u're in the room,
there is a knock on the door.

And when u open it,
u see the taxi driver, smiling."
