Iphone 4- M1 or Singtel?

Finally my wait for iphone 4 is over.

This Thur nite, I'll be somewhere collecting my new baby.

I came to the decision to get it earlier instead of waiting for Apple's hardware solution to the antenna issue, if any.

Free casing solve prob, sounds as if Apple wun do anything else.
but on further thoughts,
they wun b silly as to admit tat another newer version will be out to solve tat prob,
since every earlier adopters will want to have theirs 1-1 exchange,
will burn a hole in Apple's pocket.

I came across another article online which makes sense:
The antenna issue might b just due to US network.

Remember their iphone 3G drop call issue?
But none of it locally.
The US mobile network covers too widely & nt well-maintained.
Thus problems after problems.

However do expect ur network signal bars to go dwn south in MRT stations underground,
for this happens to any phone.
It's the Telcos tat needs upgrade.

And why my urgency?

White iphone available locally and I bet alot ppl will be choosing it than the black,
since the white covers the front portion as well.
Cool.
So it'll b white for me this time.

US have to wait till Dec b4 they get their white ones,
so if local whites sold out, which I expect to b on the same launch day,
it will be a long wait.
Late enuff for Christmas present liao.

Another dilemma for me is either to choose M1 or Singtel.
Perhaps it's time for me to change after more than 10yrs under the Sun.
