She is 1 yr old liao.

Had a mini celebration @home
invited family members only.

Cake cutting. Forget to take close-up pix of the bd cake.
So cute, hello kitty theme.

Together wif bb, we are starbucks fans.
But she seemed SIANZ 一半...

Maybe because my starbucks mermaid seems to be in 3D

Based on folklore, 
we placed five items for her to choose.

Pen, calculator, money (note), book and ruler.
It was said whatever she picks on tat day
indicates her future aptitude.

I didn't kw what each item indicates,
these are my guesses:

Pen: Good writing skills... Office worker? Zebra's salesperson?
Calculator: Good at numbers, mathematics..Accountant?
Money: Got money, good at dealing with $.... Banker? RICH TAI TAI'S?
Book: Good in studies... Teacher? Bookworm?
Ruler: Good in measurement...Engineer? Construction worker?

She selected the calculator.
Hmm....  
If make me crawl there 
I'll snatch the $100 dollar note.

Perhaps it looks more like a handphone to her, which is her fav.

We tried to flip over the calculator for another try.
Indeed, she still picked the calculator.

Fate. Her choice.

The RainForest Sports Hub

In a corner of Turf City Sports Park,
there's this RainForest Sports Hub
where there'r soccer pitches to play in.

After taking few turns, we were soon covered by surroundings very much like Malaysia.
Kinda old village, with rocky ground.
We were travelling into the forest.

I looked in bewilderment.
Confirm inside got soccer pitch anot?!

Thought I'm travelling to Malaysia to play soccer.

Also reminded me of army outfield trips.
Except this time more joyful.

Walking along the path before reaching the pitches,
there's this mini MaMa's shop (forgot to take pic of tat)
selling drinks+tibits.

While paying for my drinks, passed tat uncle a 10 note,
he exclaimed with Pai Seh Face:

"Not enuff change still ask me to sell drinks"
As he spoke,
he dug into his coin corner trying to return me some spare change.
Uncle, u sounded extremely exploited by yr boss. LOL.

Next I searched for the toilet.
My friend pointed me the direction.
More shocking, toilet so retro.
Like make-shift toilet,
majiam worker's dorm.

Really want to do, do it real.
Rainforest theme toilet cannot too modern.
Everything has to be forest type.

Lucky tat sell drinks uncle didn't wear army uniform.

But then I more afraid sell drinks one got aunty come out,
wearing bunny's outfit.

The soccer pitch was okay.
Quite clean without too much "black dots"

Those who played in artificial pitch before
would understand what I'm referring.

After I on the pitch for less than 5 mins,
my left soccer boots outsole fell off.

So for one full match I didn't dare to run much,
plus the wet pitch was damn slippery.
Fell few times.

Missed opportunity never score I will fall down,
get up, and point to the sole.

Good lor. Donno how to swim blame swimming trunk too big.

12/12/12 The Wedding

12/12/12
nice date,
throw in a wedding.

My elder sis's wedding.

It was awesome, we enjoyed ourselves.

Charlene woke up so excited as if she kw it's 姑姑's wedding

The morning started off without any guest,just a tea ceremony for mum,
and ancestors (dad & grandparents)

After the ceremony we prepared for ROM @the hotel,
attended by family members of the couple plus few of their close friends.

During the evening tea ceremony for relatives,
someone told the couple me+2nd sis,
due to juniority,
can serve tea to the couple.

Me+2nd sis were still considering whether to do it,
then after some acute calculation,
pushed for it because after serving tea, the return would be an Ang Bao.

WOw wOw woW!

When else but now to "chop" my bro-in-law?

Heeheehee.

He was shocked.
Extremely, because he did not prepare any Ang Baos.

He must have thought today was
a day of "ALL-IN" and no "OUT" for him.

As seen in the above pix, while serving the tea, he smiled awkwardly at me,
then exclaimed: " SABO HUH!"

Hahaha.

Lucky my mum came to his rescue.
Fished out few standby Ang Baos to "calm" the situation.

If not both me + 2nd sis,
being members of the wedding committe,
might go on strike.

We are Very Important Pigs okie.

I like their wedding cake.
So cute. SO cartoon.
Normally u see those traditional formal white cakes,
but this one very "hearty!"

Love is in the air!!!

In the suite, we were reunified with our makeup artise.

Years nvr seen her, she still look the same, and BEST of all she said I still the same.

SO.. I thought of words like handsome, yan dao, manly, charming, sexy...

the list could go on.
Nvm I just cut short.

Cranberry in a beer?

Produced in Finland, with a alcoholic content of 5.5%,
Full name-Hartwall Original Long Drink Cranberry.

Long drink?
Refers either to a mixed drink from gin, most commonly grapefruit soda,
or to a fermented drink tat comes close to taste of gin and grapefruit juice.

Long drinks are exceptionally popular in Finland.
The ready-mixed long drink was developed just for the Helsinki Olympics in 1952,
but due to their popularity production continued.


How does it taste?

The long drink tastes exactly like soda drink.
Soft drink, totally not like beer.
Call it a soft drink that can make u drunk.

It's just like drinking 7-Up, with cranberry flavour.
