Got a shock when I read the news.
The passing of a great man.
And the out-pouring of mourning for him on FB,
the legacy he left behind.
There's also lots of quotes by him,
most of it, frankly, my 1st read as I don't follow him tat closely.
Just his revolutionary iphone perhaps.
Meaningful quotes, esp when he mentioned death
being a driving force for his endeavour.
"Don't be afraid to make mistakes"
Few can be as strong and visionary as him.
What I can recall abt him was his public speech
when he unveiled iphone, his new baby to much anticipated crowd,
which he added:
"This product surpasses other competitors' by 10 yrs."
I bet many will think he big hole.
He got it all right-
the multi-touch screen dominates the current phone market.
If without iphone I believe Nokia will be in everyone's pocket,
as we constantly see the start-up screen of two shaking hands,
same start-up tone,
bad pixelled screen,
tactile keypad,
silly functions which we will conceived
as being the most user-friendly mobile platform.
With the arrival of iphone, whether u like or hate it,
indisputably drives other phone company to improve their products.
It's a winning situation not only for Apple Inc,
but to all consumers.
We'll remember your smile,
and hope the new Cook can dish out another legacy delicacy.
