Quite the norm now,
but I am skeptical to transfer my $ over the air,
when I don't even kw wat's working in the background.
Wait they vanished after receiving my $ I also Boh Pian.
But, at times,
if the stuff only available overseas then... why not?
It's on my wish list for some time liao.

Location-Malaysia, I managed to find them there.
Just done funds transfer to Maybank.

2 weeks I'll b receiving them,
3 devilish stuff.
I'b keeping my fingers crossed they don't run off wif my $.

Denan had this Classic Mojito-Mount Gay,
have to recommend here.

Comes wif Sugar Cane as stirrer,
mixed taste, bitter from alcohol,
fragrant from some plant leaves,
sweet from sugar cane.

Must try again next tme!
However get this one for one till 9pm @$20.

Chicken Wings

Their chicken wings can forget abt it.
Normal dish, perhaps too salty.

End of the day,

Army Anecdote-Part 2

Another funny incident.

This time, also @School Of Armour,
where we were very much afraid of our Sergeants.

The end of the day was concluded by last parade,
when we fall-in,
wif mug full of water,
holding @45 degree.

Water level has to be filled full to brim,
arms @45 degree no less/more.

Any compromises will tantamount to harsh punishments.

To make things more fun to those Sergeants,
who would be looking @us from level 2,
they wanted us to come out wif a slogan,
a leader will shout the slogan line by line,
while we recite after him,
before we can drink the water
and go back bunk to rest.

Once, we were damn shacked,
tired after standing there for more than one hr.

They wanted us to come out wif something interesting,
creative, innovative.

The Sergeants selected a guy frm the crowd, named Colin.

He was a petite sized guy who has a high-pitched voice.
Those cute cute kinda voice.
Totally compatible wif his kiddish face.

He was quite perplexed as ideas ran dry after so many nites of slogans.

"Come on, anything.
If u guys want to sleep then come out wif a good one!"
A Sergeant shouted from above.

Colin smilingly quipped:
"har...really huh, anything?"

"Ya, U can sing also." came the reply.

We started to giggle,
quite funny as we waited eagerly to see wat he can come out wif,
and his fate.
Nobody had anything left in their minds
to help him.
Will he sing? Will he recite poems?


"Quick lar, U don wan sleep I also want to sleep,
don make me punish all of your friends."

Wah sia. Gan Jiong liao.
Starting of Do-it-or-die mission.

He stepped out to the front to face us,
holding his mug,
still smiling.

We giggled even louder.

And there he goes 。。。

"I have a pen,
my pen is blue,
I have a friend,
my friend is you"

Hahahahaaahaa....
All burst out laughing, including those Sergeants.

Wah Phiang, tat's wat was once familiar on those diaries
or school leaving testimony we leave for our friends.

In the end he amused & entertained everyone,
most importantly those Sergeants.
We ended up in our bunks after that.

Prawning

Sat nite we went prawning@Bishan.
Don't kw why my album uploaded
the size Sooo small.

Something new, at least to most of us,
coz only Bingquan & Jeffrey had the experience.

Wif Bingquan eager to break his zero fighter tag,
& the thought of the fresh BBQ prawns on the plate
made it all tempting.

Quite a crowd on Sat nite, we managed to get a slot for our grp,

thus as we sat there wif hands out holding the rod,

can chat and joke.

The time dragged on, without any gd news.

The 1st prawn for our grp was caught by Terence & wife.

It caused a stir among us, for there was hope.

Then again wait wait...

Next captured prawn belonged to them again.

Wah Kaos!

As we tried to study the differences btw their hook and ours.

Same leh.

The next one also theirs. By then, we were...

Zero fighters, posing

I was waiting hopelessly, disappointed,
thinking of going to Zhi Char buy prawn and eat,
when I felt a slight pull on my rod.

I quickly pulled it up
and surprised the pull was wif a prawn.

Elated! Finally.

After unhooking,
Me+wifey posted pix wif our prawn.
So embarrassing, wif lots of eyes on us,
they must have been thinking:
"Siao. One so happy"
Others might have thought we caught a lobster.

After the prawning,
the few prawns not worth the effort to start a fire,
thus Terence packed them home instead.
Total number I'm unsure.

Then we had supper @Mac Donalds,
no prawns, still satisfied.
At least,
we had a nice meet up and chat.

Army Anecdote-Part 1

U kw lar, guys do army alot of shit
and alot of funny stuff too.

While chatting wif one of my
School of Armour (SOA) platoon mate on FB,
I recalled this funny incident.

I'll name him Mr S.
For fear of repercussion or bad karma.


Those days, my days @SOA really kana terkan.
Jiat Jiat one.

But dunno kw why, somehow nobody dared to fight back,
revolt and complain.

Everyday do do do,
until physically+psychologically tired.

One early morning we were supposed to assemble
on time at basketball court.

And timing was real impt,
don't meet= die!

Tired eyes, I was chatting wif Mr S,
as he was sitting next to me
when I suddenly noticed~

His left foot wore PT shoe (army running shoe)
his right foot wore home running shoe.
Both bear no similarity except they r all shoes.

Immediately I saw I bursted out laughing,
cachinnating, told him:
"hey u wear wrong shoe!"

Surprised, he looked down,
I really can't forget his blur,
shocked face.
Majiam saw ghost.

He exclaimed "Oh Shit"
next split sec I can only see his back figure,
running hysterically back to his bunk.

I was more afraid tat someone saw him
wif those shoes and laugh off their teeth.

Also I was surprised he didn't notice,
when he put them on.
and nobody else noticed too.

Tink in the end,
in this world only I know and saw
his DARKEST SECRET.

Years back,
on FB I managed to suan him.
I tried to make him recall...

Resident Evil: Afterlife

I forgotten wat happens in those previous sequel.
I had chosen (fortunately) to watch non-3D instead-
coz I realized the fact tat
not all shows r suitable to ride on the 3D bandwagon,
esp those fast action flicks wif dark background...
totally eye-straining.

Resident Evil: Afterlife

Cast:

Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Kim Coates, Oded Fehr, Iain Glen

Story:

"Mad scientist creating deadly virus that infected the world,
half dead man who feeds on humans and spreads those virus.

Then again Alice leads a team to eliminate...

Franky, I got nothing much to write,
coz there is NO STORY LINE!

What I feel:

It's usual Hollywood type of half-dead running &
chasing the main cast.

This one sucks coz there is no story in it.

Action wise, certain scene have to say r quite well taken.

Conclusion- just unrealistic stunts,
occasional scares,
silly elimination of bad guy.

Review:

I just wonder
why 蔡依零= burger
and S.H.E members= flat chicken meat.
Life is unfair, even when it comes to food.

The bun toasted till slightly crunchy,
Spicy chicken meat together wif cabbage,
similar to Kimchi.
1st bite I was impressed.
Half-way thro I felt the meat quite salty.

Selina

Selina was 'chopped' chicken meat.
More like normal 鸡排 to me.
Salty chicken too.
However, quite tasty.
Better than some established Taiwanese stalls.

Sour Plum Sweet Potato

This was our fav.
Sour Plum Sweet Potato.
Nice finger food.
Must try!

Their milk tea reminds me of those in Taiwan.
One of the good ones ard.

Overall, can go again.

I went to a toy shop.

I told my friend, who works there,
who will buy such stuff.

On second thought,
I repudiated my earlier thoughts.
This will sell well
once the Captain America's movie is out.

Furthermore, wat's wrong wif life-sized?
There's crazy fanatic
who buys Ultraman human-sized pyjamas too.

Anyway, quite cool lah, if u hang it on the wall.
And when nite fall, can faced up wif mask,
then bring this out.

The figurine I saw also quite cool.
His posture, holding the shield Majiam act of victory.

Too bad I onli saw the box.
They didn't put the real thing out on display.

Why the o'clock is always at 10:10?

Question:
Why do watches and clocks in advertisements often shows
clock face with the hour hand on 10 and min hand on 2?
Bery common sight on TV, print, online ads.

Have u noticed and asked yrself this qns?

Nobody seems to have conclusion.
My mum when saw her Colgate box,
exclaimed excitedly:
"Oh they reminding us to brush teeth at 10:10"

Logical. But wait!

Dreams

I find it strange.
It happened tat nite.

I was asleep, dreaming.
Dreaming of playing games wif some friends.
Playing poker perhaps.

Happy reveling moments.
I was talking to one friend,
asking him to show this cards,
can't realli recall wat exactly happened,
shld be I am on the winning side.
So eager to see his cards.

Just as I was abt to open his cards on table,
my sis knocked on my bedroom door,
waking me up frm tat dream.

Wah kaos. It's a dire moment to see his cards,
and wat a tme to knock on my door.

Why at tat moment someone disturbed and
dreams gone.

Why so accurately tat awakening knock happens
at that same nick of tme when I very much
want do something in tat dream.

If only I reveal cards earlier or my sis knocks sightly later.
I would not have waken up feeling a sense of deprivation.

I recalled in tat middle of the nite I was also dreaming,
anticipating something,
yet awake by call of nature to visit the loo.

My qns:
Why disturbances occur at the most anticipating moments in dreams?
This is definitely not the 1st tme.

When u happily doing something,
then in tat nick of tme u wake up when u don't wan to.
Dashing yr dreams.

Tat dream of playing cards and knocking door,
was so immediately linked.
Flipping open the cards,
and suddenly jumped by the sound
and found myself on my bed.

Weird and hw I hope I can find a theory to it.

Medan 2010

Our 'resort'

The photos of Medan finally out.

Above our mansion during our stay ther.
Kind of like resort.

My only complain is the mosquitoes.
At nite kept flyin near my ears.
Also, due to their electricity connections,
using too much power switches can cause electric trips.

Being on mountain, the air was fresher,
strolling down towards the temple which was minutes away.

Okie no choice got to talk abt the food there.
Seems like my blog's gettin alot of food post.
Boh Pian, just happen to come across so blog lor.


Altho they served fantastic vegetarian food in the temple,
we went further away frm our 'resort',
where there is this stall named 'warapapa'.
Owned by one of the aunties @the temple.

The food was superb.

Goreng Pisang

Unlike those in Spore,
the goreng pisang was sliced into thinner pieces,
before deep frying.

I really can't stop eating this tat I had it for at least 3 meals.
Crispy, fresh bananas, driving me bananas.

How I miss this.

Fried Rice+special

Their fried rice next.
Let them kw u'r having 'special'
they'll add egg and fried chicken.
Nice too!
U may think special is just chicken+egg.
Quite true. But wat's different is the taste of the rice,
plus chicken and egg will increase the shiokness level.

Hor Fan

Drum roll pls.
Next's my fav.
Hor Fan.
The sauce. Donno hw they do.
Thick, egg-lish, as if lobster's soup.
Poured onto the rice filled wif seafoods.
Really really good.
All Spore Hor Fans, stand aside.

Wonton Mee

This one to be okie okie.
Their wonton mee wifout pork,
replaced by chicken.

No real special sauce,
but the noodle bouncy enuff.
No regrets in ordering this,
I'll forget the taste soon...
