DIY Supper

Was @Supermarket tat day. Saw the Jap curry sauce pack.
Thought of doing something for supper.

I decided to do 2 variety.
One jap curry noodles,
another mee goreng style.


Here's the results...

I included cheezy meatballs,
sotong balls,
chicken meatballs
and eggs.

Shiok! Tat taste!

The curry quality stuff, close to wat they'r serving @jap restaurants.

Only lament is: sauce not enough to cover the noodles,
thus those remaining noodles tat can't find sauce to mix tasted plain+dry,
majiam eating rubber.

Perhaps next time I shld use the ratio of 2 packs curry for 1 pack noodle.

My mee goreng nothing to trample,
because this brand for dry noodle is GOOD.


Word of caution:

When cooking dry noodles, don't overcooked the noodles.
I've tried doing just tat, in comparison, different in taste.
QQ noodles way better than soft, soggy, lifeless ones.

Just nw I went shopping for CNY goodies,
bought some for my godmum.

I reached her place with a tired body and vacuous mind.
At the height of my hibernation,
one female cousin saw me, congratulated me,
started a conversation.

"Congrats!"

"Oh... Thanks thanks..."

"How's ur baby?"

"Ok...cranky at times"

"Did u feed her breast milk?"

"Got ah, but now less. Now on formulated milk."

"Why the mother don't feed breast milk?"

"Oh. Because she got no breast."

She looked at me bewildered face,
as if I've just dropped a bomb.


I realized my mistake immediately-
Haha. No breast?!
She might be thinking what is happening to the breast.

Direct one word to one word translation from chinese “奶”
caused my mind to come out with single-word "breast" only.

I quickly continued my statement naturally to sound as if I've being pausing to catch a breath...

"...milk!... no breast milk"

Sia! Malu like dunno wat...

Talking abt name, 

it's important not to get one that sounds weird 

when pronounce in Hanyu Pinyin.

Once, I was at the clinic when a nurse took the patient's record 

and started calling for him:

"Siao Ting Tong! Siao Ting Tong!"

I've thought she scolding someone.

The most power joke was recounted 

by wifey's masseur. Real story:

A boy was given Harry as his christian name by his parents.

Nothing wrong. 

Except when u also need to match it with his surname.

He was the joke of his classmate during secondary school 

and immediately went to change his name.

His surname? Kok.

He's Harry Kok.

Hahahaahaaha!

Day 12- Relative Visit

Our confinement nanny prepared sumptuous feast
for our relative's visit on Charlene's 12th day.
She prepared glutinous rice since last night.
